Appointment scheduling Appointment only. Receiving hours 7 PM–5 AM. Check in no more than 30 minutes before appointment time or you'll be turned away. Arriving early risks being asked to leave property; some drivers report being told to find offsite parking and return later. Don't arrive more than 45 minutes early. Live load operations Live unload only. Don't break seal yourself — dock workers will do it. Back to door, keep doors closed until seal is broken. Follow specific backing instructions or risk delays. Check-in and wait times Massive inconsistency. Some drivers report in-and-out in under 1 hour; others wait 10–24 hours for a door. Wait times heavily depend on load type, staffing, and shift. Reefer loads appear to move faster. Check-in can take 1+ hours if office staff are backed up. Once in a door, unloading typically takes 20–40 minutes, but you may wait hours for someone to break the seal first. Door assignment and staging Getting a door varies wildly. Some get one immediately at check-in; others wait 5–10+ hours. No guaranteed dock availability. Facility prioritizes their own trucks and certain shipper contracts (Chick-fil-A loads reportedly get priority). Heavy congestion during peak hours. Overnight parking No overnight parking on-site. Nearby alternatives: BP truck stop ~2 miles away (limited spots), Waffle House area, rest areas ~11 miles out. Facility has strict towing policy for overstaying. Facility conditions Limited maneuver space, crowded yard with facility's own trucks taking up docks and lot space. Paved lot available. Parking extremely tight; arriving early means nowhere to wait. Restrooms Porta-potty only. No driver lounge, no shower facilities, no vending machines for drivers. Staff attitude Highly variable. Check-in staff can range from friendly and professional to dismissive or argumentative. Some reports of guards being rude or confrontational. One review noted a worker giving food to waiting drivers. Receiving office staff sometimes preoccupied or slow. Dock workers described as both "awesome" and unhelpful.

05/27/26, Appointment 7:00 PM QCD, 9510 Rodney St, Pineville, NC There was some confusion on my pickup information because my rate confirmation showed an 8:00 AM–5:00 PM pickup window. I arrived around 5:00 PM and was informed by the yard mule driver that shipping/receiving did not open until 7:00 PM. Honestly though, once things got rolling this ended up being one of the easiest pickups I’ve had in a while. A lot of drivers were parked toward the back of the yard waiting, which is probably the best move if you arrive early. Once check-in opened, everybody piled in pretty quickly. Most of the drivers there were delivering freight, so since I was picking up, I was treated as a work-in. Check-in is done through a digital kiosk. If you are delivering, write your phone number and company name at the top of your paperwork because they collect paperwork one by one at the window. Marquesa, who I believe was the manager, was excellent. She handled the entire operation calmly and professionally and honestly made the place feel more family-oriented than corporate. The yard jockey was also very respectful and professional. He approaches trucks directly when drivers arrive, so just stay alert, watch for people walking through the yard, and be respectful back. I was called to a door around 7:12 PM, loaded with two pallets going to Haines City, FL, sealed up, paperwork returned, and rolling out around 8:00 PM. Overall, really solid experience once shipping opened.
