Rotella's Cold Storage LLC

Facility info

Highly inconsistent facility with stark performance disparities. Wait times range from under 1 hour to 19+ hours. Some drivers report quick loads (under 1 hour), while others consistently face 7-10+ hour waits for the same appointment times. No clear pattern explaining the variation. Staff universally described as kind, professional, and respectful. Office personnel helpful. Loaders communicate poorly internally — drivers report being called to doors without notice. Live load operation. Appointment scheduling available but arrival timing doesn't guarantee door assignment speed. Early arrivals sometimes get immediate doors, sometimes told to wait hours. Facility is new and clean. Backing is easy with plenty of maneuvering room. Bathrooms are clean. Vending machines available. Overnight parking allowed — gate arm down means park on street in front; gate arm up means no parking allowed inside. Complimentary bread and snacks provided to drivers. Early month operations were rough (computer issues noted), but recent reviews suggest stabilization. Facility improving but still unreliable. Bottom line: This place works great or works terribly with no predictability. If you can absorb a potential 10+ hour wait, the staff and facility are solid. If you're on a tight schedule, this is high risk.
