Facility info
Check-in: Call posted number to check in. Nobody answers phones reliably — expect difficulty reaching anyone by phone. Check-in stops at 4pm officially, but staff wants to leave by 5pm. Wait times: Wildly inconsistent. Range from under 1 hour to 24+ hours. Many reports of 2-3 hour waits. Some drivers report getting loaded in 40 minutes to 1.5 hours; others waited full work shifts or overnight. QC holds on loads can cause extended delays beyond operator control. Loading/unloading speed: Depends heavily on load readiness and time of day. If load is ready, typically 15-45 minutes. If not ready or subject to QC holds, can stretch to hours. Staff moves noticeably faster near end of shift (after 3-4pm). Gate/entrance: Multiple entrances. South bridge drive entrance for steel plate deliveries — go to stop sign and wait for check-in. Flatbed pickups at 225th Street and Alicia Avenue (tight right turn). Confirm correct entrance before arriving. Staff attitude: Mixed. Building E crew described as hardworking and responsive. First shipping office staff reported as rude. Overall professionalism varies by shift and location within facility. Unprofessional conduct alleged: One review claims preference given to carriers willing to pay under-the-table; small carriers reportedly denied work. Unconfirmed but flagged. Unloading issues: Some reports of staff requiring drivers to remove dunnage or debris (not driver responsibility). Alleged instances of queue jumping and inconsistent prioritization. Facility: Large yard near airport. Bathroom available on-site. No overnight parking mentioned. Strategy tip: Arrive around 3pm if possible — staff accelerates work before 5pm end-of-shift.

Good place to pick up steel poles.<br>Pretty simple and quick process.
I deliver steel plates and I enter through South bridge drive. Drive all the way to the stop sign and wait for someone to check you in and guide you. In and out 40 minutes. There is another gate but looks like it's for pickup and different kind of delivery.
Got here at 5:50pm... as per broker ok to get there at 6pm to load....... yea right, perhaps it's true, however, I found myself waiting at the wrong Entrance and nobody (every forklift and a pick up truck that was riding around the yard told me otherwise 🤔 soo yea they're just here to make a paycheck nothing more ... finally got around to the correct entrance (happens to be at the end of the road for loading) and called the number posted, however, no answer.. so now im bk at 7am waiting for 730 to call to ck in.. if it goes worse ill be editing this post and down the stars from 3stars
I arrived on saturday to pick up pre load for p&s transportation and couldnt find trailer. The guy riding around in big forklift stopped what he was doing to ask if i needed anything and he found it for me. Very nice place.
