Appointment times do not matter unless you are late for yours. Plan to spend at least 3 hours waiting for a door past your appointment time. Then get a door and be in that for 3 hours and wait 2 hours for bills. Come with plenty of hours. Your gonna need em.
Horrible. Checked in 40 min before my appt time. Sat for almost 3 hours in the staging area waiting for a door assignment. Finally in a door at 7:20. Red light and unloading started at 8:30. Green light at 1:40 and still have not received the lumper fee message so I can pay it. 2:00am now and still waiting. Pay attention to all of these reviews. The suffering is real and Safeway really couldn’t care less.
Was here quite a few years ago and swore I’d never come back. Unfortunately the gods were not being kind today and we had to save a national load. I warned dispatch this place is horrible and is notorious for keeping drivers for 10+ hours. Needless to say, we checked in shortly after 1500 for a 1700 appt. Get a door shortly after 1700 and then sat. They didn’t even start to touch the trailer until after 2000. Didn’t get the green light and lumper info until 2300 and it’s now after midnight and we’re STILL waiting on paperwork. Let’s see if they beat the previous record of 13 hours for holding me up. Hands down the worst place to deliver to and that’s saying something seeing as how I’ve delivered in Chicago and NYC numerous times!!
And even one star is to much …. This place is bad to get unloaded here be ready to wait 7 plus hours
