APPOINTMENTS Strict appointment-only facility. Can arrive max 30 min–1 hour early; earlier arrivals turned away. Will be denied entry and parking if too early. CHECK-IN & OPERATIONS Check in at guard shack first. Guard assigns dock door. Proceed to door S09 (or designated door) to drop trailer and unhook. Hand in paperwork, receive pager/buzzer or text notification. Bobtail to designated parking area. Wait for pager alert when unload complete. Retrieve paperwork from office, then hook up empty trailer and leave. Some reports of gate light delays after paperwork issued—may wait additional time before releasing trailer. UNLOAD TIMES Typically 1.5–2 hours total from arrival to departure. Range varies: some drivers report 40 min–1 hour unload, others report 3–4 hours or longer waits. Live unload only. FACILITY & PARKING Newly constructed distribution center. Plenty of maneuvering space and dock doors. Limited bobtail parking—lot patrol enforces spaces, can be strict. No official overnight parking on premises. Some drivers report informal street parking on service road to left of exit or cul-de-sac beyond main entrance. SAFETY & AMENITIES Safety vest required on site. Restroom available at door S09 office. Vending machines available. Some construction ongoing at certain areas. GPS & ACCESS Difficult to spot from street. New facility—GPS often misdirects. Use second gate for drop and hook. Tight north gate entrance; turn wide entering/exiting. From I-295 Zoo Parkway exit: facility is 1.5–3.5 miles west; watch for railroad tracks and second entrance (not first). STAFF Generally professional, friendly, and cordial. Security/guard shack and receiving office staff consistently praised. CONCERNS Straps/load components occasionally go missing; verify load weight before departure—multiple reports of overweight trailers (6,000+ lbs) needing rework. Communication gaps in transportation office reported. No flexibility on early arrival despite ample parking space.
