Appointments mean little — expect 2-6+ hour waits past scheduled time even with early arrival Unloading times brutal — 6-15 hours common, even for partial loads or small pallet counts (2-7 pallets reported taking 4-9 hours) Paperwork/BOL processing slow — can add 2-3 hours after unload completion; Capstone handles this and is frequently cited as bottleneck Door assignments delayed — 2-6 hours from check-in to dock access typical Check-in procedures — arrive early (4:30-5:30 AM for 6-7 AM appointments common), long lines at check-in window, some staff reported rude Staging/queue system unclear — drivers report sitting in staging area before dock assignment Facility experience: No overnight parking — drivers cite being turned away; nearby street parking now blocked by enforcement Restroom access denied or unavailable — multiple reports of no driver restroom access; porta potty mentioned but unreliable/unclean Staff attitude mixed — receiving office staff sometimes described as nice, but operations/security staff frequently reported as rude, unprofessional, or indifferent No food service on-site — food truck available sporadically (taco truck 12-2 PM noted), drivers advised to bring own meals Dock conditions — pallets debris and container seals scattered; some docks dirty Ample dock/yard space — alley docking available, multiple docks, but throughput extremely slow Preferential treatment reported — some drivers claim Sysco trailers prioritized over independent/OTR drivers Location notes: Entrances on Currier Rd, Lemon Ave (small sign below eye level) Walnut, CA location Lumper fees cited ($267 for 1 pallet, $300 fees mentioned) Bottom line: Systemic delay issues across all operational stages. Block 10+ hours minimum. Multiple drivers report skipping loads to this location entirely.

Very poor receiving management.9 pallets. 8am appointment. 10am to the door. 6pm unloading done. 10 hours. What a shame for sysco. If you can't handle that many deliveries, order less trucks. Pretty much every truck driver is missing their next pickup appointment cause of these guys. No more sysco for me, this will be my last load for sysco. We should protest this sysco management.

This place dosent even deserve 1 star. Had appt. at 6am, didnt get a door till 8:40am. They barley started an hr later after I went up to the ask. It's almost 3pm and my guage still shows they haven't even took out half of the full load. Sysco in walnut is terrible, there other warehouse in riverside isn't as bad as this terrible place.

Been here since 7am and they just got me unloaded at 2:45pm. AND I’m still waiting for paperwork. This place takes hours to unload you. It’s absolutely ridiculous. The workers don’t care about your time. AVOID THIS PLACE.
