6–12+ hours typical for live unload — plan to lose your whole day. Drop and hook much faster (1–2 hours). Appointment required; need T0 delivery number or sent to back of line. Cannot check in more than 1 hour early — arrive later and risk being turned away or rescheduled. Drop trailer in designated spot, slide tandem back, bobtail to staging area. No overnight parking on-site or nearby — hard to find spots in area. Must leave immediately after unload. Staff attitude inconsistent — guard shack and office staff often friendly and respectful, but yard drivers reckless with trailers. Some report unprofessional management and miscommunication on appointments. Safety vest required, no walking around lot. Public restroom inside by shipping office. Long walk from bobtail parking to office in all weather. Yard conditions rough — tight maneuvering, trailers sometimes moved to wrong spots. Equipment not always handled carefully.

It’s always a bad experience at Target Distribution. Plan to lose your whole day here. I arrived around 5:30 and didn’t get unloaded until 12:30 — seven hours for a live unload. Extremely slow process and no overnight parking available. Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had delivering.
It’s Sunday 2/1/26 snowy day, short staff, kind people, 8:00am appointment, 6trucks ahead of me 4 hours later, still waiting.
