Walmart Distribution Center #7183

Facility info

OPERATIONS Drop and hook standard — you drop trailer, park off-site (usually on street), wait for call. No bobtail parking on lot. Live unload: expect 5–8+ hours minimum; often understated at 3–5 hours. Staff frequently don't call when ready — you must call them. Check-in only 30 minutes before appointment; arriving earlier gets you turned away or parked on road. Verify load weight at scale before arrival — overweight tandems will send you back for reloading. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Overnight parking available on street in turn lane; some use middle lane or across-street lot. Staff inconsistent: gate guards range from friendly to lazy/rude; communication poor (missed calls, no BOL signatures). Yard tight for maneuvering; property small and congested with trucks backed up on both sides of street. Flying J fuel/food/rest ~10–12 miles away.
