Great business to work with — they load very fast. The office staff are very friendly and there are all the amenities for drivers. Most reefer companies should learn from them and take lessons on how to properly run a cold storage facility.

Check-in and loading procedures were fine; however, I waited 3.5 hours past my appointment time before the trailer was actually loaded. The real disappointment came at delivery, when I opened the doors. Whoever was responsible for loading my trailer showed a complete lack of care and professionalism. The photos speak for themselves. I am currently sitting at the receiver’s dock with my fingers crossed, hoping they will be able to work with it and accept the load as-is.

P.S. I was unable to inspect the load after it was loaded because the trailer was loaded and sealed with the doors closed.

This was my first time in the area and I learned about the Michigan U-Turn. It is definitely something to make you nervous as a truck driver.

The only way to make a left on Highway 31 is to go through a U-turn spot. The largest one I saw was after cross street Ransom Street. Though I didn't actually go that far. The ones before it were snow packed and I didn't want to chance going that far up.

I turned right on Riley Street and looped around behind Meijer and kept making right turns until I was back on Riley heading West.

Crossed 31 and took 128th Ave up to the entrance gate. It was a lot of tight turns doing it that way but I avoided a possible U-turn situation even if they are designed for trucks.

Only other route I could see is go direct through Holland on the business route and slug it out in city traffic.

This place is first come first serve. Your appointment time doesn't matter. It also has some parking on site if necessary. Bathroom at the check in office.

It was easy once I got there and decently fast.
