OPERATIONS Appointments required but often not honored—expect to wait even if on time. Only 2 docks operational; 3-5 hour waits common. Live loads problematic—multiple reports of long delays and cancellations. Fast unloading once you get a door (30–45 minutes typical), but paperwork delays reported. Facility closes at 10 PM. Check-in at security guard shack after parking in lot on right side past scale. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Docking area tight and tricky to back into—take your time, back in rather than drive forward. Overnight parking allowed (some drivers slept there). Bathrooms present but described as dirty with no tissues. Staff generally friendly and accommodating at security/gate level. Yard conditions acceptable. Guard check delays when multiple trucks arrive simultaneously. WEIGHT & LOADING Watch axle weights carefully—at least one driver reported being loaded to 35,700 lbs and had to sledge trailer forward to redistribute. DIRECTIONS Cross 16th Street from Ottawa Street into gate. Park in lot to right. Walk to guard shack to check in and get door assignment. Pass scale first, then park. REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS Plan for lengthy waits. Not suitable if you have time constraints. Unloading is fast once docked, but total time on property frequently 4–10+ hours. Not recommended for owner operators or tight schedules. Detention pay reportedly inadequate.
