They start receiving at 8am. You can part out on the road at the first entrance you come to not the second one. You'll have to have a trailer inspection done if you are a Landstar driver.... Go to the Landstar yard located at 601 Vidal Cantu Rd Laredo TX first. Get the trailer inspection done and get a trailer inspection sheet to bring back to this location. Make sure the truck and trailer information on the inspection sheet is correct. THEY ARE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITHOUT A INSPECTION SHEET THEY WILL NOT LET YOU IN!!!!!!
Respectfully, There's no reason why with the amount of trucker traffic coming in and out (& barely anyone speaking English here) that someone in management doesn't care to take the time to label your entrances with the appropriate signage. Additionally, signage directing what driver's should do to check in would be greatly appreciated. Right now you have driver after driver lined up on the street to go in the wrong driveway & others are actually waiting for these to stop at the guard shack, semi check into the wrong area with 2 mostly Spanish speaking women who point to tell you to turn around & go into the next driveway. This is the most frustrating & inefficient way to do business yet. I could have been in the correct line from the start. I've spoken to 8 drivers lined up on the street behind me & 5 in front who all are puzzled on what to do & where to go. It's actually time wasting ridiculousness that isn't professional. 13 trucks are lined up right now waiting to enter the facility & two are double parked because they are also confused!<br><br>🚫 No overnight parking<br>🚫 No restrooms | No porta potties<br>🚫 Poor English speaking<br>🚫 Bad pot holes in the shipping side (2nd driveway on the right.<br>🚫 SLOWER THAN THE MOLASSES IN JANUARY.
Just to get in its a mess you might wait an hour in line. And if you dont know your client or po or Pu number they will make you leave and get back in line.
