Facility info
Appointments: Can check in early; most get docks before appointment time. New check-in process involves guard shack, app-based registration (FreightSmith), then return to guard shack for door assignment via text. Live load/drop: Live unload facility. Lumper fee required ($20-30 range based on fuel card payments mentioned). Check-in: Guard shack handles initial paperwork and BOL collection. Must download FreightSmith app to complete registration in staging area before door assignment. Unload speed: Highly variable — ranges from 15 minutes to 5+ hours. Most reports show 40 minutes to 2 hours. Depends on load type and facility timing. Wait times: Major complaint. Many drivers report 3-8 hour total facility time despite quick physical unload. Bottleneck is paperwork/door assignment process and the multi-step walk-around system (guard shack → staging → guard shack → door 71 → staging → door 71 again). Overnight parking: Yes, abundant. Staging area is large with dedicated truck parking before and after delivery. Can stay overnight if needed. Restrooms: Clean, located at guard shack. Modern facilities noted in several reviews. Staff attitude: Mixed. Many praise professionalism and respect. Some reports of rude receiving staff and receiving crew issues on night shift. Generally gate/guard staff rated higher than dock receiving. Yard/facility: Well-maintained, spacious lot. Tight dock backing areas with close door spacing. High-numbered doors (100+) have limited backing room. Safety: No major safety issues reported. Process notes: Three-part paperwork system (guard shack pickup, submission at door 71, final pickup) creates confusion and extra walking. App checkout can be finicky if early. Night shift may experience sleep disruptions during delivery windows. Overall consensus: Praised as one of best Aldi locations for amenities and early dock access. Criticized for slow paperwork turnaround and unnecessarily complex multi-step process despite fast physical unloading.
Driver reviews
Get ready, because you'll be waiting a long time, and there's no coordination among the teams.
Park in the parking lot on the left side at the entrance, then go to the security booth and give the documents. Fill out the form there and wait for them to call you. They will call you and give you a door number, and when you park at the door, you will receive an SMS to pay. After you pay, the unloading will start. When it turns green, park again in the parking lot and wait for them to call you. When they call you, go to gate 71 and get your documents.

The toilet is 2 at the entrance, next to the security booth, you can park overnight.
An incredibly professional team effort.
