Facility info

Wait times — Wildly inconsistent. 5 minutes to 24+ hours. Many reports of 8+ hour waits for pickups. Pack a lunch. Scheduling/load readiness — Loads frequently not ready despite confirmed pickup times. Won't confirm load status over phone; drivers must arrive to check. Some loads delayed or mill down. Drop and hook — Usually preloaded trailers, but availability spotty. Trailer inspection — Strict standards. Reject trailers for holes, nails, odors, cleanliness, tandem positioning, current inspection stickers. Drivers can sweep/prep at inspection area. 10–30 minute inspection times (longer if rejections occur). Inspection dock staff attitude inconsistent—some professional, some confrontational about paperwork and procedures. Facility hours — 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (not 24 hours despite some listings). Was 24-hour operation until September 2019. Overnight parking — Available around trailer inspection area. Staff conduct — Mixed reports. Some helpful and professional. Multiple complaints about rude/dismissive attitude toward drivers, particularly at inspection and scales. One report of security staff not performing duties professionally. Picky about trailer condition — Owner-ops report frequent rejections for minor issues, forcing repairs or turnarounds. Safety/dress code — Wear pants, no slips. Trailer repair shop — Available on-site or nearby for rejected trailers.

I can understand the driver's frustration about having to wait because they do not have things ready for them as expected, that is indeed all on that company and there should be some sort of a contract stipulation for extra pay for that.<br>However, given the nature of the product that the truckers are shipping, they also need to understand and meet the expectations of the company also. Truck and trailer flaws for these type of shipments are unacceptable, and I have no doubt that these "small" defects in the drivers eyes have cost the company big time over the years. All these extra inspections (time and personell) and having the truckers turn around to get repairs etc. also cost that company extra money, and GP Corp. just did not jump up one day and say, 'Ya know what, why don't we go out and hire a bunch of extra people and pay them, and give them benefits (for a total cost of twice what they are paid) to spend time inspecting the shipping trucks, and delay everything even more!!'

If you are an owner operator this place will turn you around for anything … Y’all need to stop the policy of having to expect every trailer and making them get it fixed for minor issues if they are an owner operator I understand that y’all have thousands of trailers On your yard But you guys are making owner operators suffer … If you are an owner operator, please don’t go here They will waste your time and your money
