Facility info
UNLOAD TIMES Consistently slow across the board. 4-12+ hours reported regularly for small loads (under 10 pallets). A few rare exceptions under 2 hours, but not the norm. Unloading pace appears glacial—reports of one pallet every 10-15 minutes. Paperwork delays compound wait times, sometimes adding 2-4 hours after unloading finishes. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING Appointment requirement enforced. Arriving early doesn't help—expect long waits whether you're on time or early. Some drivers report being called in early, others held to strict arrival windows. Missed appointments require rescheduling, potentially costing weekend delays. CHECK-IN & DOCK ACCESS Guard shack staff consistently described as nice and professional. Bring your CDL. Check-in procedure straightforward. Dock assignment timing varies wildly—some get doors immediately, others wait hours after appointment time. LUMPER FEES Capstone lumper service mandatory. Fees range $155-$425 depending on load size. Half loads reported at $180-$225. Full loads can exceed $400. Fees sometimes hit after you're already in detention. PARKING Street parking only. Dirt lot across street by Highway 289 loop ramp if arriving early. Construction ongoing, reducing maneuvering space. Overnight parking available on street. No dedicated truck lot. FACILITIES Porta potties available. Dog walking permitted but restrictions reported—some told not to leave truck once docked. Limited food nearby; bring your own. Reasonable place to sleep if you get stuck overnight. YARD CONDITIONS Muddy dirt parking. Construction zone to navigate from lot to guard shack. Overall facility appearance described as messy and disorganized. STAFF ATTITUDE Guard shack staff friendly and professional. Night shift reported as rude in some reviews. Unloading crew pace suggests indifference to driver time. Management appears unresponsive to chronic delays. DAMAGE REPORTS Multiple drivers report frequent "damaged" product claims at this location—unusual frequency compared to other facilities. BOTTOM LINE Plan for 6+ hour minimum dwell time regardless of load size. This is a time sink. Not recommended
Driver reviews
My experience was different from some of the comments. Maybe those situations happened to other drivers, but mine went very smoothly.

My appointment was at 7:00 PM. I checked in around 5:00 PM, and they assigned me a door immediately. They also sent the lumper payment to my phone right away. After I paid, they unloaded my trailer quickly and brought my paperwork back without any delays.

I was completely finished by 6:45 PM. There was a truck stop only about 5 miles away, so I got there by 7:00 PM, parked, and went to sleep.

I really liked this facility, so I’m giving it 5 stars.
Security guards were friendly. It was the unloading that's the 1 star. Got to my 5pm appointment and was told that almost everyone was put down for a 5pm appt. I had less than half a trailer and I was there for 4 hours. I waited almost 3 hours before they started on my trailer. My BOL came out fast though. Yard has plenty of space for backing, chock wheel, and stay in truck until they bring the BOL out. Just be prepare to wait.
No more Parking across the gate….but you can park by loop 289 before the stop sign…..expect a mc lane unload….3-5hrs high lumper fee.
