OPERATIONS Appointments required but early check-in accepted. Receiving hours approximately 11pm–5am despite what dispatch says. ID exchanged for badge at security gate. Drivers assigned to dock doors between 8pm–midnight, bring paperwork to door 72. Merit Logistics lumpers only—payment via text link (RelayPayments). Lumper fees $44–$79 depending on load. Lumpers hold payment until paperwork complete. WAIT TIMES & UNLOADING Highly variable. Some drivers report 26 minutes door-to-door, others wait 3–5+ hours. Small loads (5–6 pallets) faster. Heavy loads, multiple pallets, or damaged goods extend times significantly. Paperwork delays common—drivers report 1–2.5 hour waits after unloading complete. Dock assignment appears inconsistent; some drivers bypass line if staged early, others wait hours despite early arrival. FACILITY EXPERIENCE No overnight parking. Early arrivals park in staging area but must leave after paperwork received. Staging area can be tight when busy. Extremely dark dock area—backing difficult, reflective vests recommended. Security gate staff quality varies significantly (described as both "very courteous" and "aggressive"). Receiving staff attitude inconsistent—some described as professional, others as rude or dismissive. Lumper service complaints frequent regarding speed and attitude. Unsanitary conditions reported (dumpster overflow, liquid waste near dock). Driver licenses retained during unload. Straps/cargo securing items sometimes not returned promptly.
