Americold Logistics Appleton

Facility info

Wait times are wildly inconsistent. Some drivers report 30 minutes to 2 hours; others wait 12-24+ hours. Facility frequently runs 5-15+ hours behind appointment times. Early arrival sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't. Drivers who show up 4-6 hours early occasionally get loaded quickly; others sit regardless. No predictable pattern. Two separate check-in locations. Freezer loads check in at end of W Nordale Drive; cooler/non-freezer loads check in at end of W Pershing Street. Staff attitude varies significantly. Most interactions described as friendly and professional, but weekend staff noted as rude/dismissive. Generally treated well if you're respectful. Overnight parking available but limited. Street parking near facility is plentiful. On-site lot parking very limited (6 spots mentioned on freezer side). Some reviews say no overnight parking allowed; others confirm it's available. Restrooms and vending machines available at both shipping/receiving office locations. Backing can be tight when all doors are full. Docks generally 1-2 hours once assigned door. Check-in procedure: arrive, check in at appropriate building, wait for call to dock. No appointment scheduling details provided in reviews. Yard conditions: clean facilities mentioned; cramped lot noted as occasional issue. Load errors reported: at least one LTL load complaint about incorrect loading.
