Facility info
Drop and hook standard — most loads handle this way. Live loads also available, typically 45 minutes to an hour for unload. Tight lot. Backing into drop spots difficult and cramped. Trailers sometimes parked too close together, making landing gear operation risky. Expect delays waiting to enter and yard equipment moving trailers around. No on-site parking. Can't park bobtail or stage overnight at facility. Pilot travel center less than a mile away. Casino across street also used for parking. Scheduling issues. Trailers sometimes not ready at scheduled time. Wait times inconsistent — some drivers in/out in 15 minutes, others report hours-long delays. Overcrowding in lot compounds delays. Security personnel mixed. Some guards consistently professional and pleasant. Others reported as rude, dismissive, displaying anger over routine questions. At least one specific security staff member (days, north side) cited multiple times for unprofessional behavior toward drivers and contractors. Bathroom access problem. No driver restrooms on-site and no port-a-potty. Facility won't allow driver use of facilities. Facility conditions. Lot pavement poor — large cracks, potholes, sharp edges that damage tires and suspension. Yard dogs sometimes hit trailers; report filed but damage happens. Staff attitude variable. Some describe as helpful and nice; others report consistently bad attitudes and unpleasant body language. Empty trailers inspected. Washout receipt sometimes requested. Reefer loads: Dock with doors closed, sealed from inside.
Driver reviews
Never Again
DONT DELIVER HERE Absolutely unacceptable. I have been waiting 3 full days for them to unload one trailer. This is one of the worst facilities I have ever delivered to. The operation is extremely slow, communication is almost nonexistent, and nobody seems to care that drivers are losing days of work and money while sitting here.

Keeping a driver waiting for three days without a clear explanation or reliable unloading time shows complete disrespect for drivers and their schedules. Avoid this place if you have any choice. I would never accept another load coming here.
Slow
One of the worst Tyson I've been to. It's extremely tight. Drop trailer then you have to leave. They give you a piece of paper with a phone# on it to check on load. They don't call you. It's 2 hours after my appointment time and still not ready. I'll update later when my load is ready. Load was finally ready 5.5 hours after my appointment time. Check your trailer before you leave for any damage. They damaged my trailer. Other than that it's a normal meat packing plant.
