Facility info
Operations Appointments required. Receiving opens 4am Monday-Friday. Early check-in possible if staff available. Wait times highly variable — range from 15 minutes to 7+ hours. Most common complaint is long delays between check-in and dock assignment. Live unload with lumper fees ($100-$350 depending on load size). Some loads rejected for pallet condition or not matching buyer specs — rejection means driver hauls back. Backing & Maneuvering Extremely tight docks. Multiple reports of vehicles hit by other trucks. Guard rails positioned close. Narrow doors with ~20 inches between them. Limited staging area — drivers sometimes compete for positioning. Long-wheelbase and sleeper tractors struggle most. Consensus: doable but requires patience, slow speed, and sometimes outside spotters. Position tandems forward. Be prepared to take 20+ minutes just to align with dock. Not suitable for 53-foot reefers or long-nose trucks during peak times. Parking No overnight parking on property. Street parking available on left side of driveway — approximately 12 spaces. Potholes reported (some over a foot deep). Do not try to park in facility yard to check in — staff will make you leave. Check in at receiving office, then relocate vehicle. Sapp Brothers truck stop about 5 miles away. Facility & Staff Mixed reviews on personnel. Many drivers report friendly, professional receiving staff. Others describe rude or dismissive gate/dock workers. Bathrooms accessible (though one recent report of "employees only" restriction). Yard cramped with limited maneuvering space (~20 feet). Construction activity reported in back area. Facility designed for straight trucks and short local trailers, not highway sleepers. Unload Speed Highly inconsistent. Range: 15 minutes to 7 hours. Faster when load is organized (single product, full truck). Slower for partial loads or multi-product deliveries. Staff may spend 3+ hours sorting and breaking down freight even after unload starts. Some drivers report staff told them waits can be even longer. Other Receiving opens at 4am. Lumper fees mandatory and high relative to load size. Restroom access sometimes restricted. GPS routing issues — facility location tricky,
