Facility info

Check-in & Procedures Guard shack stop required—provide P.O. number (starts with 500). Safety vest mandatory. Trailer must be clean; they'll inspect it. Reefer fuel must be 3/4 full minimum or you'll be sent to refuel. On-site trailer washing available (cheaper than truck wash). Clear instructions on parking and dock procedures provided by receiving office staff. Operations Drop and hook typically fast and efficient. Live loads significantly slower—expect 4-12+ hours or longer depending on load complexity and facility workload. Loads often ready before appointment time, but occasional delays happen. Scale on-site by axle; multiple reports of scale accuracy issues—verify at CAT Scale if concerned. Email notification system for load readiness (you must check email; no automatic texts/calls while bobtailing). Wait Times & Scheduling Highly variable. Some drivers in and out in 2-3 hours; others report 7-18 hour waits. Drop and hook consistently faster than live loads. Coming early doesn't guarantee faster service or dock assignment. Live load appointments particularly unpredictable. Facility Experience Overnight bobtail parking available. Showers and driver lounge on-site. Paved lot (no mud). On-site scale. Vending machines and microwave available. Staff & Attitude Inconsistent. Multiple reports of rude/dismissive inbound guards contrasting with friendly outbound staff. Shipping office staff quality varies. Some drivers report excellent communication and respect; others describe cold, unhelpful interactions. One report of guard distracted by personal phone calls during check-in. Other Notes Trailers sometimes backed against curbs causing mud flap damage. Exit scale accuracy questioned in multiple reviews.

    It's a Tuesday afternoon about 1 PM.
That shift of the people that working in the guard shack and the lady working the shipping office.
I know when I came in. I said, hello, nicely, no response. People are dry. I have been there before. Can't remember the guard's name, but he was really nice. Had a sense of humor I know I'm only a truck driver. We deal with a lot of stuff out here. Every single day. So, yes, it would be nice that when you say hello or good morning or good afternoon or good night that you get a response. Nicely.
It's probably why I like going to love's truck.Stop Because when you walk in, they're hi .Welcome to love's even though most people don't speak back. But I do, it's called appreciation.

Typical Tyson live 4 stop load done 12 hrs after appointment time. Is this good?
