Facility info

Live load operation. Appointment system exists but not always required; first-come, first-served noted in some reviews. Mandatory trailer washout before check-in — facility enforces this strictly and rejects dirty trailers. Have receipt ready. Check-in process straightforward at office. Load times all over the map. Under 30 minutes to 2+ hours common. Most reviews report 1–2.5 hour turnarounds, but some drivers waited 3–5 hours. Slow periods documented but facility acknowledges they handle high volume (hopper bottoms, rail cars). Check-in procedure: Park at red line, walk to office with license and paperwork. Staff assigns dock door immediately. Driver slides tandems to rear, backs in, disconnects, parks bobtail. Staff notifies when unload complete; driver reconnects and pulls out. No overnight parking at facility. Pilot/Flying J 2 miles away. Bobtail parking available while waiting for unload (limited). Hours 7am–10pm Mon–Fri; closed weekends. Bathrooms: Indoor facility, ask staff for location. Driver's lounge upstairs at guard house. Cold water and amenities available. Staff attitude: Mixed but mostly positive. Described as friendly, respectful, helpful, and accommodating—even worked after-hours in one documented case. Professional yard dogs and shop crew noted. One weight-loading dispute reported (load 1,700 lbs over gross, facility refused to cut). Facility: Clean, reasonably maintained. Tight parking lot; drivers sometimes park in traffic lanes. Shopping and truck stops nearby. Red flags: Washout rejection disputes (some feel overly strict). One driver refused haul due to weight overload and communication failure. Wait times unpredictable.

This location opens the gate just before 7am. Quickest Tyson live load ever. 1.5 hrs and rolling out the gate. Great people to be dealing with.

READ !! Thete is a window of loading time, say midnight to 10pm. 10pm would be the drop dead time when load should ready. After checking in at guard building pull forward to check in with shipping in big warehouse building. Have the "500" number that is the pickup number. Do as shipping ask and things go great.
