  I will start off by saying prior to my last visit, I have always had a good experience. The doctors are always nice and helpful. The front staff could use some work. I was a patient for a few years, driving 25 mins each way. I made an appointment 3+ months ago. They were booked out pretty far, totally understandable! I went into my appointment a few days ago and tell the lady at the front desk my name. She checks me, says it will be a few minutes, and to have a seat. She did not inform me when I checked in that they stopped taking my insurance a month prior and it would not be covering my bill for all the tests, which came to $98. I’m thankful I was able to just pay it, but if I didn’t, I would have been put in a very bad situation that could have been prevented by a phone call before my appointment so I didn’t already drive the 40 mins it is now from my new home, I could have saved the money I spent in gas, which is 4.27 a gallon where I am! They could have even told me upon check-in then I would have saved myself that money on an eye visit my insurance would have covered elsewhere! Very unprofessional if you ask me!!

  Or less! I am not a patient, but my granddaughter is. She had an appointment yesterday. She had three tests done. When she went to leave she was told they didn't honor her insurance anymore and she had to pay $98.00. Money she didn't really have to spend. In my mind, she should have been told when she made the appointment or at least when she went in, so she could have made the decision to go somewhere that would honor her insurance. Very, very unprofessional for a way to do business!!!
