Facility info

Appointment required; receiving opens 4pm. Can't check in until 1 hour before appointment time. Live unload only — expect 3–8 hours minimum. Capstone lumper fee mandatory ($140–$363+ reported). Slow counting, frequent shortages. Check-in is walk-up at guard shack with license and BOL. Straightforward process but staff vary wildly — some friendly and professional, others rude. Park on street shoulder only (right side of road). No overnight parking permitted. Local police enforce — you'll get ticketed if you linger after checkout. Receiving office in corner of P1/G1 area (yellow door). After unload, walk paperwork to office, wait for final call, then immediately leave premises. Dock backing has plenty of room. Guard will assign door and give slide-tandem instructions. Break room inside building has vending machines, clean restrooms, coffee maker, ice machine. Unload quality is inconsistent — some drivers report under 2 hours, most report 5–8+ hours for standard loads. Capstone's breakdown process (converting pallets) drives delays and costs.

Appointment 19:00, arrived at 18:30, departure at 23:00. You need to arrive no earlier than 1 hour before your appointment. Park the truck on the street and walk with the papers to the guard shack, bring your ID, phone and BOL. After you backed to the dock, bring all your paperwork to the receiving office. Capstone will send you a lumper payment link. Once the papers are ready, they'll call you, wait for the call, and you'll go and pick your BOL. After receiving the papers, you must leave the premises. Don’t park on the street after you are done, the police are on duty outside and will give you a ticket. Security guards will also call you and will kick you out and won't let you park on their street. Unloading crew works super slow and takes too long to count the product, so prepare to sleep a few hours. Sometimes it takes 1-2 hours for IN&OUT, if only fortune will smile at you.

I'm giving 4 stars mostly because of the ladies I checked in with. They were funny, friendly and helpful. From the moment I called to check in to getting a dock door. Adrienne (don't get mad if I spelled it wrong, you knew I was gonna post a review you should've said something 🤣) the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it's always slow unloading at McLane and I'm not giving 5 until that changes 🤷🏾‍♂️ Back to Adrienne, if you see her smile and it doesn't make your day better then you're just choosing misery. She's a little baddie. I'm only coming back when she's working 🤣
