Facility info

Live loads: Plan for 4-12+ hours. Consistently slow. Multiple reports of 7-10 hour waits with small truck volumes. Staff reportedly indifferent to driver time. Some drivers burned their 14-hour clock. Overloading is common—weigh your trailer before leaving. Rework loads often still come out overweight. Drop and hook: Generally quick, 2 hours or less. Most positive reviews are drop and hook pickups. Preloaded trailers move fastest. Some reports of trailers needing work or scattered across multiple lots (scavenger hunt situation). Check-in: Yard dog does initial check-in, not receiving. Requires reflective vest, destination, and order number for paperwork. Some reports of having to return an hour after shift change to officially check in—unusual requirement. Open window appointments sometimes heavily delayed. Reefer requirements: Washout and full tank required before check-in. Precool trailer to -10°F, but may be told to turn it off during loading, then won't release paperwork until temp reaches 0°F or below again—creates issues in hot weather. Overnight parking: None available on-site. Nearby Flying J option exists. One report of $150 fee for early unload refused. Limited street parking nearby. Wait times: Highly unpredictable and facility-dependent. Drop and hook: manageable. Live load: expect lengthy delays. Staff: Mixed reviews. Some describe friendly, helpful employees; others report dismissive attitudes, lunch breaks during active loads, poor communication. Facility conditions: Tight yard, limited space. Bathrooms reported as not clean. Yard operations sometimes chaotic. Weight issues: Multiple reports of trailers leaving overweight by 1,500-2,500 lbs. Verify before departing. Lateness policy: One report of holds until third shift if driver is late to appointment.

This site is no longer an Americold. Also it is no longer used as an entrance for trucks. The address you should go to is 4820 East Main Street

I had this address in ratecon but you have to go to Tyson food building for check in and pick up. It is next to americold. Check in, drop your trailer and wait….
