Facility info
Check-in & Appointments Park on street before approaching guard shack. Guard available 9pm onward. Appointment times frequently not honored—many drivers report 2-5 hour waits for door assignment even when arriving on time. Some early arrivals get doors immediately; others wait hours. No clear pattern. Must walk paperwork to guard; don't drive up to shack. Unloading Highly variable. Reports range from under 1 hour to 5+ hours. Lumper crews sometimes delayed or not present at scheduled time. Lumper fees required—pay upfront or unloading won't start. Many drivers describe this facility as slow compared to other McLane locations. Parking Street parking only—no on-site lot. Limited space on narrow road strip in front of guard shack; overflow parking on adjacent streets. No overnight parking guaranteed; depends on available street spots. Some drivers report comfortable street parking; others note it's tight and unsafe. Empty trucks expected to park elsewhere to free up spaces for incoming loads. Facility & Amenities No bathrooms or vending machines available. Overnight on-site sleeping not permitted. Yard turnarounds recently allowed but discouraged. Some nearby truck parking options 2+ miles away. Staff Mixed reviews. Some guards described as friendly and helpful. Older female guard noted multiple times as having poor attitude and rude demeanor. Communication inconsistent. Safety Concerns Backing out onto street in low light conditions flagged as hazardous. Forced street parking creates highway safety issues per drivers. Hours Night shift only. Guard starts 9pm. 3rd shift deliveries standard.

Come by appointment only!! Unloaded 1hr. Water load.
Procedure: park on the side gravel road, walk to guard at gate to check in, go back to truck and wait on phone call for dock, back in dock and wait on phone call when finish, bills will be in back of trailer, close door and exit.
It was a very nice quick short drive to McClane, being as though it is only 12- 14 minutes away from the house.
All these McLane locations are the same, terrible. They dont respect your time and still charge you lumper fee(s) for poor service. I sat in a door empty (after unloading a whopping 4 pallets) for WAY too long waiting for my paperwork.
Maybe I can save you the headache, don't haul ANY loads for McLane if you can avoid it.
Camera in my trailer, sitting empty in the door...
Really a bad place for delivery, I give 2 stars only for overnight parking in the front of the building but they deserve 1 star, I’ve been waiting 20 hours for unloading
