HEB Seasonal Warehouse

Facility info

Appointment times are strictly enforced — arriving early won't get you in early; expect to wait in staging area or street parking until scheduled time Wait times from door assignment to unload completion: highly variable, ranging from 35 minutes to 4+ hours; many reports of 3-4 hour waits Multiple facility locations/buildings create confusion; check-in procedures differ by location (seasonal vs. main warehouse) Dry loads and frozen/produce loads may route to different facilities Security gate check-in required; guard issues yard pass and directs to staging area or street parking Lumper fees required (cash or Comcheck accepted) for some loads; some loads use HEB staff instead Overnight parking available on facility grounds and surrounding streets Bathrooms and waiting area available Staff attitude inconsistent — mix of professional/friendly interactions and reports of disrespectful treatment; one manager documented as aggressive toward drivers Backing space tight in some areas Non-HEB/non-Parkway drivers report less favorable treatment Facility layout confusing with multiple buildings 0.8 miles apart Some reports of drivers reassigned between doors multiple times during unload process Guard occasionally late to morning check-ins; recommend getting yard pass at guard gate before proceeding
