Interstate Cold Storage - Fort Wayne West

Facility info

Load times wildly inconsistent — Reports range from 1 hour to 5.5+ hours. Some drivers in and out quickly; others stuck 4–6 hours past appointment time. Appointment scheduling doesn't guarantee dock access — Early arrival doesn't move you up. Staff calls you to dock when ready; can be significant wait between check-in and door assignment. Overnight parking available — Lot has space; east side designated for overnight stays. Staff attitude mixed — Check-in window generally friendly and professional, but receiving desk attitudes vary widely. Some drivers praise professionalism; others report arrogance and dismissive responses. Facility in low-visibility location — Hidden on neighborhood street off I-69; use GPS/mapping app. No check-in gate. Once you reach end of Lincoln Parkway, easy to spot. Dock setup underutilizes capacity — Multiple doors available but only select ones actively used, contributing to bottlenecks.
