Facility info
APPOINTMENTS ONLY — strict policy, 1-hour grace period. Miss appointment, get turned away same day. No exceptions. Live load only. Drop and hook not available. Check-in requires: driver's license, truck/trailer license plates, carrier company name, fuel levels, phone number. Pre-cool reefer trailers before arrival. WILDLY INCONSISTENT WAIT TIMES — ranges from 30 minutes to 7+ hours on dock. Day shift noticeably slower than night shift. Loading speed varies dramatically (some report 1 hour total, others report pallets moving at glacial pace or not at all). Assigned door at check-in. Second green light signals paperwork collection. Some reports of incomplete loads or missing pallets after checkout. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING. TA and Pilot/Flying J nearby off I-295. Restrooms available, generally clean. Temperature checks for reefer loads standard. Staff quality depends entirely on shift. Night crew (Becky, Shelly, Dajir, Olivia, and others) consistently praised as fast, professional, respectful. Day shift described as slower and difficult to work with. Management appears ineffective overall. Facility has adequate backing space. Building runs cold — bring a jacket.
Driver reviews
I don't know who gave it five stars….
Appt 8am ..done by 10am... not bad No overnite parking
Stay away from this place because the night shift really don't care about the driver. It is there way or the highway. The truth is that all they have to do is respect the driver and understand where they come from. I have to say day shift verses night shift is very different. If you are an owner operator. Just stay away for the night shift. Pickup. Because they are slow as molasses. The truth be told they need a new night management to get the product moved. Get the trucks loaded when they have an appointment. Why have an appointment. Just come first come first bases. . Because the truck come with a much later appointment gets loaded first and the first last. Heck of a deal right. But what can you say when the place gets ran with adults wanna be kids again. 🤔 well what ever.
