Facility info
Appointment strict — arrive within 30 min before, not earlier. Security will turn you away if you show up too soon. No exceptions. Unloading times brutal. Most common complaint: 4-7 hours, often much longer. Some reports of 9+ hours. Not a reflection of load size — even 1-3 pallets can take 4+ hours. Check-in bottleneck. Long line at guard shack. Expect 30 min to 1+ hour just to get through gate, then wait for door assignment. Staging delays. Even after appointment time, doors may not be available. You'll get a call when one opens; park on street (Eberhardt) and wait. Lumper fees high. $135–$460 reported. Must be paid before paperwork released. Paperwork delays. After unloading complete, significant wait for bills and exit paperwork. No overnight parking. Street parking only (Eberhardt Street). Porta-potty for restrooms — dirty, minimal amenities. Strict PO requirement. Security may reject loads if PO not clearly printed on paperwork. Staff attitude inconsistent. Some reviews report friendly, professional service; many report rude, dismissive behavior from security and office staff. Scheduled appointments frequently missed. Some drivers rescheduled days out for missing narrow arrival window. Live unload only — no drop-and-hook option. Not owner-operator friendly. Multiple reviews specifically warn against this.

Never come back 8 hours unloading trailer
DONT ARRIVE EARLY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR ANY REASON. IT WONT HAPPEN.
The SORRIEST warehouse/distribution place I've ever delivered to. Sucks!!!!!! If I could give it a -0 Star I would.
No overnight parking.
Guards and receiving clerks were polite and friendly.
Fairly quick unloading (about 3 hrs from docking to receiving my bills).
Room for backing and maneuvering.
Lumper fees were high as usual at all Mclane facilities.
My biggest problem with this facility is that I arrived about 45 minutes before my 15:00 appointment. They checked me in at the gate then told me to turn around and at the end of the driveway turn left. Then take the first left on Eberhardt Rd and park along the road until they called me with a door. Eberhardt Rd is a 4 lane road with absolutely NO SHOULDER. You have to park in the road. Also you have to make a u-turn on this narrow 4 lane.
If this happens to you, turn right at the end of the drive and then turn right on Wendell Rd, then right on the frontage road and right on Eberhardt (you will not have to make a u-turn. Then park IN the road.
If you are going to run a facility that requires semi trucks coming in and out, then there should be some place you can have them park SAFELY while waiting.
They have a large grassy area between the drive and Wendell road that could be made into a great staging area.
