Some drivers report being turned away for arriving too early. CHECK-IN PROCESS Pull to guard shack, break seal, present paperwork. Guard assigns dock door. Walk papers to receiving office (Door 71). Check in at window, then report to lumper desk (right side). Lumper company calls you when unload starts and again when payment is due. LIVE LOAD VS DROP AND HOOK Live unload only. Lumper company handles all unloading. WAIT TIMES Highly variable. Range: 1–6+ hours from dock assignment to paperwork in hand. Morning appointments (especially 6 am–9 am) often 3–5 hours total. Evening appointments sometimes 2 hours. Unload itself typically 30 minutes–2 hours; most delays are paperwork/receiving bottleneck. Some reports of 4+ hour waits at dock with green light on. Some trucks park with lights off overnight. CHECK-IN LINE Morning arrivals report long lines. Trucks stack on street outside gates. No visible queue organization; inconsistent enforcement of order. Security presence. Arrive 1.5–2 hours early for early appointments if possible. SAFETY/SECURITY Armed security on-site. Guard demeanor varies widely—some friendly, some described as rude or "power-tripping." Facility enforces line order unevenly; some drivers report confusion over queue position.
