Street parking to check in at guard shack — but recently (5/16/25) no longer allowing road parking; verify current policy before arrival Safety vest required at all times on property, including walk to guard shack; will be asked to return to truck if not wearing one Check in anytime day before appointment; can arrive night before and sleep Phone call notifies you of dock assignment (typically 3-5 hours after check in) Live unload with Capstone lumpers; lumper fee texted to you, must be paid before paperwork release Unload times highly variable: 2-6.5+ hours; many reports of 5-6 hour waits; a few quick turnarounds under 2 hours Late fee ($150+) charged if you miss appointment by 1+ hour Dock equipment issues reported (broken dock plates, broken doors) Paperwork delays common — often 1-2 hours after unload completion; no notification system (no red/green light or phone call); must walk in to check status Guard shack staff (primarily female) consistently described as courteous and professional; dock and receiving staff attitudes mixed — some very pleasant, others described as rude or miserable Overnight parking on street available with varying availability depending on volume Bathroom access: porta potty outside, upstairs bathroom through break room (cleanliness varies) Slide tandems to rear, disconnect air hoses, apply wheel chocks before unload Leave one door open after unload Must exchange driver's license at guard shack for key card; some flexibility on ID type reported but verify Pallets broken down and counted individually — expect longer times for loads requiring detailed inventory Facility described as disorganized; staff turnover and inconsistency noted No communication between guard shack and office regarding paperwork status Performance highly unpredictable — some days fast, some days very slow

Worst !! Check in is like check out on a prison, ridiculous filters and if you’ll get screamed at if missing vest, shoes, pw, etc u even get metal scanned on 2nd check point, but that’s just the beginning.. like 99% of USfoods staff has it figured out to “justify” they’re shift by sacrificing a few unlucky drivers even if u only have 1-2 pallets they’ll unload u but have u docked and waiting for pw until a few minutes before they’re shift ends when they could have everybody in-n-out in a few hrs … good luck !

If you have a delivery here, cancel it no matter what the cost. Aside from wasting your entire day, they will cost you your whole week.Keeping you waiting for hours is completely normal for this receiver. All the staff are useless types. Stay away, or you’ll regret it when you end up stuck waiting inside your truck.
