3520 E Francis Ave, Spokane, WA 99217
Operator: US Foods
Facility info
APPOINTMENT & SCHEDULING Appointments often mean little — expect 2-9 hour waits even with confirmed times. Won't unload early regardless of arrival time; will send you off premises to wait if you arrive before appointment. Early arrivals can trigger $250 "early fees." Shows no flexibility to help drivers make connecting loads. UNLOADING PROCESS Slow and unpredictable. 2-10 hours commonly reported for small loads (5-16 pallets). Full trailers sometimes faster than partial loads. Once you get a door, another 1-4 hours passes before actual unloading starts. Paperwork delays add 1-2 additional hours after unload completes. Workers sometimes don't communicate when they begin unloading. LUMPER FEES High and aggressive. $200-$400 reported for small loads (5-10 pallets). Will charge "damage fees" on top of base rate and dispute poorly. Payment method inflexible — some drivers report cash/check only requirements, though this may have changed. CHECK-IN Head directly to northwest corner of facility (take immediate right when entering); check in there, not at the defunct security booth. Straightforward on paper but facility gets congested with truck positioning. Receiving office staff inconsistent — some reported as helpful and efficient, others rude or dismissive about delays. FACILITY CONDITIONS Small lot, tight backing spaces. No overnight parking on property; park across street on dirt roads. Portable restrooms only — no regular bathroom access. Very limited space when multiple trucks present. BOTTOM LINE High risk of full-day loss even for small deliveries. Current management (US Foods) reportedly slower than previous operator. Facility regularly overbooks beyond capacity. Multiple drivers recommend passing on loads to this location if possible.
Driver reviews
Typical US foods, they only have a porter bathrooms outside and take long time to unload your truck. All my friends who been there told me it’s gonna take 5-7 hours. In my case took 5 hours. Didn’t even use their bathroom, hope I never come back here again. Capstone mafia sends out lumper fee and after you pay you gotta wait another half hour to an hour to get paperwork.

It’s a total quagmire here!!! They unload very slowly—expect it to take 4–6 hours. There’s no overnight parking on-site, but there is a Maverik truck stop nearby at the intersection.
Kirjah and Jeremy in receiving are awesome and they try their best to get you in and out in a timely manner. I cone here every couple weeks and I'd come here every week if I had to. When you come in, go to the right and down past the dock doors is receiving. Plenty of room for backing in
