ADUSA Distribution DC91
1315 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester, CT 06042
Facility info
Appointments strict — arrive max 1 hour early or risk being turned away. Must reschedule if early. Live unload times wildly inconsistent: 30 minutes to 11+ hours reported. Unloading itself often quick, but paperwork/verification can drag 2–6 hours. Check-in fast if on time. Show ID at gate, get parking spot assignment, walk to shipping office, provide cell number. They call when dock ready. No overnight parking. Facility operates day hours only. Bathrooms clean. Vending machines available. Receiving staff mostly professional and friendly, though a few reports of rudeness. Staff attitude inconsistent across visits — some drivers report great experiences, many report indifference to driver detention time. Unloading crew sometimes takes lunch breaks mid-job. Yard conditions adequate for maneuvering. Shared warehouse with multiple retailers (ADUSA, JC Penney, Amazon) — follow signs to correct entrance. Bottom line: Severe unpredictability on total time. Plan for full day minimum. Many drivers blacklist this facility.
