Facility info
APPOINTMENT REQUIRED — Strictly enforced. Don't arrive more than 30 minutes early; they won't let you check in. Call ahead or use intercom at gate with PO number ready. CHECK-IN & OPERATIONS — Use call box/intercom at gate entrance. Provide PO number. Receive dock assignment immediately. Do NOT break seal yourself — back in just far enough to open doors, staff will verify and break seal. Leave 5 feet clearance at back of trailer. Drop and hook available. UNLOAD TIMES — Highly variable. Most reports 30 minutes to 1 hour; several cite 2-4 hours. One outlier reported 7+ hours with delayed paperwork. FACILITY EXPERIENCE — Receiving office at door 1. Free coffee and restrooms available. Clean, well-lit location. Dock areas tight but manageable. Staging area available if backed up. Staff attitude mixed — majority report friendly, professional staff; minority report rude receiving clerk. Multiple drivers note demeanor improves if you follow procedures and treat staff with respect. PARKING — Very limited street parking (capacity roughly 12 trucks). Overnight street parking possible but theft risk is documented — multiple recent reports of freight theft, cut seals, and missing loads from unattended trailers. Street parking flagged as "big risk." HOURS — Opens 5 a.m. / 5:30 a.m. SAFETY — Seal integrity strictly enforced. Don't remove or tamper with seals. Some security concerns noted regarding parked freight.

Make sure you have the seal, or apply one if it’s missing. They only let you in 30 minutes before your appointment; when you check in, they’ll open the gate for you. Pull up to the dock but don't break the seal—the doors won't open yet. Take your paperwork and wear your safety vest; go to the office near Door 1. They will give you the document the forklift operator needs. Once unloading is finished, he’ll return the paper to you, and then you can go to the office to get the bills of lading.

Sunday May 17 2026 11:30 Appointment I had an excellent experience at Martin Brower Distribution Center. From the moment I arrived, the entire shipping and receiving process was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and respect. Facilities like this make a major difference for drivers on the road, especially when dealing with strict schedules and long hours. A special thanks to Alec, the supervisor, for running such a well-organized and professional operation. You can clearly see strong leadership reflected throughout the facility and crew. Everything moved in a smooth and coordinated manner without confusion or unnecessary delays. Much gratitude as well to Derek Frank and the handling crew for their hard work, professionalism, and respectful attitude. The team worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and kept the process moving quickly while still maintaining a welcoming environment for drivers. Also, special thanks to Andrea from the shipping desk for her professionalism, patience, and outstanding communication. She handled the paperwork process smoothly and respectfully, making the entire experience stress-free and organized from start to finish. What stood out the most was the teamwork and efficiency throughout the entire facility. Dock coordination was smooth, paperwork was prepared promptly, and the overall process was handled with attention to detail and professionalism. Everyone I interacted with treated drivers with courtesy and respect, which is greatly appreciated in this industry. The facility itself was clean, organized, and clearly operated by a strong team that takes pride in their work. Experiences like this deserve recognition because professional and respectful operations are becoming harder to find. Overall, huge respect and appreciation to Alec, Derek Frank, Andrea, and the entire crew for running such a professional operation and treating drivers the right way. I would gladly return again and highly recommend this facility to other
