Facility info

Appointment scheduling: Appointments required. Facility appears to overbook same time slots. Honors appointment times inconsistently—some drivers report getting in early and out quickly, others wait hours past appointment time. Arriving early doesn't guarantee faster service; some guards turn drivers away if too early. Live load operations: Live load. Check-in at guard shack with documents and seal inspection, then proceed to receiving office behind building for dock assignment. Unloading times highly variable—reports range from 30 minutes to 5+ hours. Friday staffing thinner, causing longer waits. Wait times at gate: Major complaint. Gate waits commonly 1-2 hours, occasionally up to 4 hours. LTL drivers prioritized ahead of scheduled truckload appointments regardless of arrival time or appointment slot. Facility experience: Overnight parking not permitted (recent policy change—previously allowed outside gate). Restrooms available at receiving office. Yard appears well-maintained and easy to navigate for semis. Staff attitude mixed—some guards and receiving personnel described as friendly and professional; others described as aggressive or dismissive. Vending machines present. Unloading speed: Highly inconsistent. Same-day unloads reported at 30-60 minutes, but also reports of 2-6 hour unload times. Receiving staff appears to prioritize loads arbitrarily rather than by appointment or arrival order. Overall: Facility has capacity but scheduling/prioritization system is broken. Success appears dependent on shift timing and luck rather than appointment adherence.
