Facility info

APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING Appointment-only facility—strict enforcement. Drivers arriving early may face significant wait times; early drops sometimes approved but inconsistent. Check in by calling number posted on fence 2 hours before appointment time. Have PO number ready. Confirm appointment before arrival if possible—phone lines may be slow to answer but keep trying. DROP AND HOOK VS. LIVE LOAD Drop and hook available. Trailer drop yard located on left side of property (S Walnut St area). Live load unloading typically 2–3 hours; some reports up to 6+ hours for later appointment slots. Load sequencing occasionally prioritizes other appointment times over check-in order. CHECK-IN PROCEDURES Park in lot on left side. Call number posted on fence/sign. Must place delivery papers in tube under metal canopy near entrance (requires exiting vehicle to see instructions). Staff will provide dock assignment and instructions. Upon completion, retrieve papers from same tube. Process is convoluted with minimal signage. WAIT TIMES Highly variable. Reported range: 45 minutes to 8+ hours. Several reports of 2–3 hour waits for live load. At least one report of 24-hour wait. Delays sometimes caused by staff administrative errors (information not entered in system). Some drivers report acceptable turnaround; others experience extended delays. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Tight, congested backing required directly off street with active traffic. Narrow dock space; limited maneuvering area (~30 feet). Yard conditions poorly maintained (muddy, uneven). Trailers block street during drop-off creating traffic hazards. Located near railroad tracks with frequent train noise. OVERNIGHT PARKING Mixed reports. Some drivers confirm overnight parking available at drop yard; others say no overnight parking. Conditions not well-maintained. Train noise reported as constant issue if attempting to rest. BATHROOMS No restroom facilities available on-site or at waiting areas. STAFF ATTITUDE Inconsistent. Office/phone staff generally described as helpful. Yard operations staff (jockeys, yard personnel) frequently reported as rude, dismissive, or aggressive. One report of staff member using profanity toward driver. Early arrival and cooperative drivers report better experiences. Late-shift

To check in, please call the number posted on the fence. Please note that trailer loading requires two hours.

Place is right after the railroad tracks. There is a cut out on the right you can park at by door #1. If your doing a drop & hook the drop lot is on the left . Call # on pole and they will direct you were to go and what to do.

The yard jockey on 1st shift was being aggressive for no reason. I don’t recommend to park overnight, constant train horn won’t let you sleep.

Very very slow place. When checking in, make sure the receptionist puts in your information. I checked in at noon…didn’t leave till 8pm. Something told me call to see what was taking so long. The guy that answered the phone at 5pm said that my information wasn’t even entered in the system. He finally got me in a dock door around 6pm. Lost a whole day because the woman didn’t do her job..at least that what the warehouse guy told me.
