Facility info

Appointment scheduling: Appointment-required only. Strict about timing—arrive 10-20 minutes late and you move to back of queue. Facility opens 5 AM, takes appointments starting then. Check-in: Drive to dock door 55 (not always clearly marked from entrance). Some reports of long waits at check-in office with no staff present. Unload operations: Highly inconsistent. Range from 20 minutes to 7-8 hours for same workload. Staff shortages common. Facility holds driver keys during unload—no AC in trailers during summer. Some drivers report being asked to restack pallets as condition of unload. Dock availability: Major delays assigning docks. 3-5 hour waits before unload starts reported frequently, even with on-time arrivals. Overnight parking: Do not park on exterior streets at night. High theft activity—trailers broken into, pallets stolen between midnight-4 AM. Park in Lodi instead or designated lot. Facility condition: Yard and grounds kept clean. New, modern facilities. Good parking available including spaces for disabled drivers. Staff attitude: Mixed. Some drivers report professional, fast service. Many report rude, unresponsive personnel. Management communication problems—conflicting policies between staff members. Check-in and gate staff sometimes ignore drivers. Other: Facility has beer/beverage inventory if relevant to your haul. Inconsistency is the defining characteristic—experience varies significantly visit to visit.
