OPERATIONS Appointment scheduling required. Currently in transition—facility not fully functional yet. Receiving office hours 0500-2300 (temporary). Check in with guard shack first, they assign door. Unloading times extremely variable—reports range from 1-2 hours to 7+ hours. Guard shack check-in can take 45 minutes to an hour. Staff may forget to call you when green light appears—monitor your door. Lumper fees high ($350-$520 reported). Payment processed after unload. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Limited overnight parking on road near guard shack—approximately 10 trucks capacity, street-side only. Some parking available alongside road before guard shack (not close to gate). Large lot with good maneuvering space. Bathrooms clean and available. Gate security procedures strict. Staff attitudes mixed—receiving office staff range from very polite and professional to rude and dismissive. Guard shack staff reported as unhelpful, dry, uncommunicative, and sometimes rude. Facility newish, generally clean. Some reports of receiving desk errors with weight and billing. MAJOR CONCERNS Unloading times consistently reported as excessively slow (4-7+ hours common, even for small loads). HOS violations likely for OTR drivers. Staff doesn't appear to value driver time. Late delivery fees charged despite facility delays. High lumper costs combined with long waits frustrates drivers significantly. Inconsistent service quality. LOGISTICS Located on E Hardy Rd. .6 miles past Rankin Rd, turn right after Crown Lift Truck facility. PFG gate on left. Limited street parking near Crown facility. Flying J and QT available on I45 Exit 64 (fill up quickly).
