Facility info

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS Appointment required, but won't check in more than 3 hours early. Some reports of early arrival still processed. Arrival 30 minutes to 1 hour before appointment typical. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT PROCESS New QR code/app-based system in place (replacing manual). Requires phone with you. Scan code, enter appointment number, BOL, trailer/truck number, CDL photo. System frequently glitchy — expect 5-40 minutes just for check-in depending on whether app works that day. Multiple reports of redundant paperwork (same info collected twice). Secondary security stops required even with app. Gate attendants still assist despite automation intended to reduce their workload. Checkout takes another 40 minutes to 1+ hour at gate. OPERATIONS Live load and drop-and-hook available. Yard jockeys assign doors and staging spots via text. Most reports are live load/unload. Drop-and-hook trailers may not be ready when promised. No overnight parking. 24-hour facility but winter operations restricted due to product freezing. LOAD/UNLOAD TIMES Highly variable. Reports range from 30 minutes to 8 hours. Typical complaint: sitting at dock 3-4+ hours after arriving. Some loads underweight or overweight requiring rework — drivers report being charged for mistakes made at facility. Unloading sometimes stops mid-shift with no explanation. DOCK OPERATIONS Driver must unhook trailer and wait at door. Green light signals completion and release. Some reports of delayed light activation despite work finished. Dock staff occasionally inconsistent about when work actually begins. FACILITY & AMENITIES No restroom access for drivers reported. No overnight parking. Nearest truck stop is Pilot, approximately 1 mile away. STAFF & ATTITUDE Mixed reviews. Some gate/security staff reported as helpful, friendly, and supportive. Others described as rude, snarky, "power tripping," cold, unhelpful, and dismissive. Yard jockeys sometimes critical of driver maneuvers. General complaint: staff indifferent to driver schedules and detention impact. FACILITY CONDITION Large warehouse. Yard conditions adequate. Construction ongoing near facility

I checked in around 1:00 PM today, and I want to recognize the two gentlemen working at the guard check. They were professional, respectful, welcoming, and easy to deal with from start to finish. Both of them deserve an A+ for their customer service. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 10 years, and I also spent about 5 years doing a similar type of work, so I know firsthand what it takes to stay professional when you’re dealing with all kinds of people throughout the day. Many people come in carrying personal problems, stress, and frustrations, and sometimes they try to take it out on the person in front of them, these two gentlemen maintained a positive attitude, treated everyone with respect, and handled themselves professionally. Unfortunately, that’s becoming rare nowadays. Too many people bring their own problems to work and let it affect how they treat others. These gentlemen represented the company exceptionally well and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Thank you both for your professionalism, patience, and outstanding attitude, Keep up the great work 👍🏿

Was very rude and disrespectful! Talked to the guy at the gate was told he was named Sam and then asked to speak to supervisor who I was told was named Oscar! Unknown if they are the true names or not but extremely rude and disrespectful when asking a simple question, how do I check out since it keeps telling me I entered the wrong number. Their reply was to slam the window and door in my face and SAM refused to give me the supervisor when asked. When Oscar ( if that's his real name, big guy with long black curly hair ) came and asked me what happened. I started to explain and that's when he shut the door in my face. I do t believe that's how customer service works. This was not a pleasant experience at all! I honestly wish I could give it -10 stars. But the only person that was truly respectful and actually cared was this really young guy ( 19 -24 of age he looked ) dirty blonde hair and facial hair. Was wearing a blue shirt today! He didn't want to give me his name which is ok but he was the perfect example of great customer service! 10 gold stars for him. I really hope the other 2 dont treat other customers they way they treated me. It honestly makes me not want to come back to your location at all in Edwardsville Illinois. I vaguely remember the first guy when I came in ( the young kid ) telling me I would recieve a text, honestly never recieved a text so I didn't know what to do. Communication is all that it takes. Also when "sam" says to open your doors to look to see if it is empty, is didn't realize i was going to have to open both sides because when I opened up 1 side he said he couldn't see. That is just ridiculous. So anyone going there male sure to leave does open or they won't be able to see inside the trailer at all!
