Facility info

Check-in & Operations Check-in opens 4:30-5:00am. Bring DOT #, truck plate #, trailer plate #, CDL #, and driver's license. Park in staging area near guard shack, walk to shack for initial check-in, then walk to receiving office for second check-in. Entrance confusing for first-timers: from E Holmes Rd turn onto Bledsoe Rd, then left; or use Grocery Rd/Kroger entry. Appointments mean little—expect to wait for dock assignment even if early. Some miss appointments by 30 seconds get rescheduled to 6:00am next day. Drop trailers available but require strict appointment adherence. Late fees charged ($100-$300 documented). Unloading Experience Highly inconsistent. Range: 15 minutes to 46 hours on dock. Typical waits: 4-8 hours common. Some report 12+ hours. Lumper fees high and sometimes include suspicious extra charges (e.g., $80 to turn pallets). Capstone lumper service used. Even after unloading, paperwork pickup often delayed hours. Green light at dock doesn't mean go—staff may say it means nothing. Facility Conditions Overnight parking available (~14-15 spots) but limited. Kroger lot next door has additional spaces. No restroom at US Foods; Kroger staging area nearby has one. Parking lot congestion noted; tight dock backing area with US Foods bobtails creating obstacles. Yard appears maintained but crowded. Staff & Attitude Guard shack staff highly polarizing. Some drivers report rudeness, yelling, slurs, condescension. Others say she has sarcastic humor and is actually helpful if you match her energy. Receiving office staff described as slow, disrespectful, unprofessional, dismissive. Some reports of warehouse staff smoking in trailer. Mix of pleasant experiences noted but inconsistent. Additional Notes Payment issues reported: one carrier claims 91 days unpaid. Brokers reportedly won't pay detention

I’ve had a solid experience dealing with this location. The selection is broad, and for the most part, the process of getting orders placed and fulfilled is pretty straightforward. It’s a reliable option if you need to source supplies in bulk, though occasionally the wait times for pickup can be a bit longer than I'd prefer.

Hate the start of the process here gotta park inward then check in then back out then go to the door getting your door is easy backing up in our door is easy just the wait time can be a bit long I think they parking set up is meant to prevent you from parking after your done delivering literally saw somebody have an accident on my way out of here when they were backing out to check in The setup at the gate is so stupid looks like they probably have multiple accidents probably a regular thing
