Driver reviews
There are drop trailers everywhere, the road into the docks was pretty much 1 way traffic because of trailers dropped on the road once you turn into the yard the sign says park in the dirt lot to check in but the dirt lot is full of drop trailers and POVs. Check in was fairly simple and the lady was very nice. If your assigned docks 30-35 you have to go back out to the road and back in off the road and because of the curve in the road I had to blindside in. You will drop your trailer and pull in front of it then they will call you when its done. Not an awful place just not a lot of room at all
I arrived there at 7 am and the receiver team tell me that your appt. is for 9pm in the night but as per the RC it is mentioned 9am in morning but they appreciated very much, the person Bryan there helped me alot and understand my situation and just gave me the dock in 40 mins and my driver empty asap. I appreciated him very much. We need this kindhearted person/team everywhere at the receiver.
Truck drivers beware. They are over run with dropped trailers. They gave me dock door 2 but had rows of trailers and tankers in front of it. Not a place for a rookie when they have no respect for a drivers backing space. The yard dogs are rude and they treat drivers like they are in their way due to them being over their capacity of trailers sitting around. The streets are crowded with trailers as well and the yard dogs get mad if you take one of their street drop trailer spots. They will make you unhook and go park on the street. This place is rude to drivers with no respect for them. In 21 years of driving. They hit my top 10 worst list.
