Facility info

Entry & Navigation Enter off Caterpillar Dr. Frozen/refrigerated loads check in at back of building near door 15; dry loads check in at front near door 15. GPS may route you elsewhere — ignore it. Appointments & Check-In Appointment required. Receiving opens 6am. First-come-first-served despite having appointments. Strict 1pm hard cutoff. $500 late fee for arriving after appointment time, even if dispatcher notified facility in advance. $500 charge for rescheduling appointments. Unloading Dry loads: 20-35 minutes typical. Frozen/refrigerated: varies. Facility does own unloading — you don't control pace. Some loads take 4 hours. Lumper fees mandatory: $180-$1,000+ depending on load size (highly variable and sometimes excessive). Lumper paid via Relay app or cash before leaving. Yard & Maneuvering Very tight backing. Limited maneuvering space. Yard jockeys sometimes park in driver staging areas, forcing multiple maneuvers to reach docks. Freezer lot is disorganized with trailers blocking movement — check in at front and walk back to assess situation first. Overnight Parking Conflicting reports. Some say parking available in front right area; others report no overnight parking allowed or have been threatened by security when parked on property. Safest assumption: no overnight parking — use nearby gas stations instead. Facility Conditions Described as disorganized and tight. Bathroom availability unclear. Front area has lunch supplies, forks, plates, and food for purchase. Some reviews describe facility as "disgusting" and note staff doesn't appear concerned about conditions. Staff attitude mixed — some friendly and professional; some instances of rudeness from receiving staff. Labor Violations One report of 12+ hour shift with only one 10pm break and no 15-minute breaks, contrary to labor law. Other Notes Eby-Brown and DHL distribution also operates from this location. High variability in driver experience — unloading times and fees inconsistent.

Not too bad for deliveries. I've got to knock off a couple of stars because the yard jockeys park in the area where us OTR drivers need to use for maneuvering, making an easy backup turn into several maneuvers to hit the door properly.

Eby-Brown Company, lumper fee, 1pm hard cut-off, $500 reschedule appointment. It's attitude unfair to the driver, sometimes delay just can happen, and late fee also can be applied, but $500? For what?

The big lady in the receiving office has anger issues she needs therapy yelling and screaming and trying to delay you to charge a $500 late fee stay away from this place I don’t care what the pay is not going there ever again

Given a 5am appointment. Tried checking in at 4, was told receiving did not open until 6. The woman working the front check in was really rude and unhelpful. I went to the back to check in with freezer and it was a madhouse with everything they have parked back there. I would suggest parking in the front and walking back there to see what the situation is. They put me in a door in the back at 630, and then had me move to a door in the front. Finally got out at around 820. There was no lumper fee.
