Facility info
Check-in & inspection: Extremely slow process, especially evenings. Lines regularly back up onto highway. 30 mins to 2+ hours standard. Morning/night (7pm-7am) typically faster. Need clean trailers — zero holes, no debris, no duct tape unless as approved patch. Live loads: Expect 8+ hour waits. Loads frequently not ready on promised time. Dock doors often delayed. Some operators disappear for extended periods. Scale calibration issues on loaders cause inconsistent weight. Drop & hook: Generally smoother but still 20-40 mins minimum for inspection. Some days in/out quickly, other days significantly delayed. Saturday/weekend service reportedly better. Load readiness: Major problem. Preloaded loads regularly missed by hours or days. Contact number frequently doesn't answer. No reliable ETA system. Drivers report losing bonuses and canceling follow-up loads due to delays here. Gate info: Multiple gates (at least 6). Gate 4 and 6 mentioned for truck entry. Gate 2 for certain products. Clear signage lacking for first-timers. Staff: Mixed reviews. Security generally friendly and helpful. Trailer inspection crew described as slow, lazy, rude, short-staffed. One exit gate guard reported as unnecessarily hostile. Shipping/receiving night staff noted as rude. Some individual staff members (like dock workers) praised for efficiency. Overnight parking: Not allowed on property. Must find external parking if waiting for delayed loads. Organization: Recently improved with marked/paved areas and company-specific zones. Still described as chaotic and poorly marked overall. Yard operations disorganized. Bottom line: Clock killer. Plan 2-3 hours minimum. Come prepared for long wait. Night shifts (7pm-7am) perform better. Drop/hook preferable to live loads. Keep trailer inspection-ready.
Driver reviews
If your flatbed driver dont come here without knowing all the information where exactly your load should be unloaded
Really like what they did with the place. Go to gate 4. Open doors slide tandems back into space so they can check your trailer to make sure it's clean. If not they have brooms and dumpster to clean out. Stand at back of trailer give them your pickup number and they will give you your paperwork and direct you where to go. Easy drop and hook.
Pays the bills
Weather delays every hour. Truckers cutting in front of one another at the trailer inspection station and not waiting until their turn causing aggravation for all.
All I can say is it's been about 13 years since I've been to the plant. Used to pick up here every week and 20 years ago.<br>Things have changed. Pretty easy to get to.
