Americold Logistics Lynden
406 2nd St, Lynden, WA 98264
Operator: Americold
Facility info
Operations Appointment required — call ahead to confirm product availability before arriving. Check in at front office before backing. Live load operation. Wait times highly inconsistent: some drivers loaded in 30-45 minutes, others report 6-10+ hour waits. Product availability from onsite production facility directly impacts load times. Appointment times frequently not honored; local drivers sometimes get priority. Facility experience Tight backing — challenging for inexperienced drivers. Multiple narrow docks (8, 9, 10 noted as particularly tight). Older facility with high forklift and pedestrian traffic. Move slowly through yard. Overnight parking available but limited — ask office where to park so you don't get disturbed. Restroom situation unclear from reviews — one states no restrooms, another mentions portable toilet in decent condition between warehouses with regular cleaning. Staff attitude mixed. Many describe loaders and office staff as friendly, helpful, professional. Some report rude, unprofessional interactions and lack of communication during long waits. Convenience store across street. Restaurants blocks away. Truck stop 1.6 miles away. Directions WA-539 north to Main Street, turn right (swing wide). Left turn on 1st Street recommended over 2nd Street for better access. Call facility's directions line for specific routing. Get clear dock assignment — multiple buildings onsite. Bottom line Facility capable of fast turnaround (under 1 hour documented) but equally capable of extreme delays with no clear pattern. Product readiness unpredictable. Definitely call ahead.
Driver reviews
Carists honk constantly on the dock. It's unbearable. This company has a shitty logistic pattern. Don't rely on your appointment time, you'll still be there 5-6 hours later. No respect for truckers logs, you better plan a +1 day on your journey. Everything is shitty from A to Z at this place. I hate this place like nothing else on Earth!
My experience was excellent, called the number for loading to confirm product was ready from truck stop. I was directed to dock. As soon as I got to dock, fork lifter driver approached me. I asked for pallet count and told them how to load it, they started loading right away. 45 minutes and I was loaded, full truck
Waited about 30 hours only 6 pallets stilll not ready finally I cancelled a load and leave facility.. avoid this place tight place …

Be ready to wait at least 7 -10 hours guaranteed. This people here are nice but forever to load you.
