Don't show up early — facility won't accommodate you and you'll lose your spot. Arrive 15-30 minutes before your scheduled time. Check-in procedure: Park on street before checking in. Walk to receiving office — do NOT drive into the yard to check in. This clogs the facility and you'll be made to pull back out anyway. Receiving office staff variable in speed; some report 15+ minute waits during high-volume times. Wait times for door: Highly unpredictable. Reports range from immediate to 5+ hours. Multiple drivers scheduled for same appointment slots creates bottlenecks. Once you have a door, unloading is typically fast (30 minutes to 2 hours). Unloading: Live lumper service available.
