McLane Frankfort

Facility info

Operations Receiving hours: 12am–4:30am or 8pm–4:30am (sources vary). Appointment required. Live unload only. Check in at small door next to blue dumpster on east side of building, then head to receiving office. Can check in/sign in at midnight even if appointment is later. Unload times highly variable: 30 minutes to 7+ hours. Most recent/positive reviews report 30min–2 hours. Older reviews show extended waits (3–7 hours), particularly for night shifts with multiple appointments and limited staff (often 2 unloaders). Lumper service required (Capstone system). Lumper fees: $75–$231. Watch lumper receipt carefully—discrepancies reported between quoted and actual charges. Can arrive day before appointment; facility may accept you if not fully booked. Facility Experience Overnight parking extremely limited: 3–5 truck spaces on ramp/driveway, first-come-first-serve. Not reliable for overnight stays. Lot layout confusing—no clear signage. Park along back row with trailers or in driveway near entrance. Staff attitude mixed: Many drivers report friendly, efficient personnel. Others report rude receiving staff (particularly older male in yard, female at desk). Restrooms available and clean. Facility somewhat disorganized—trucks parked haphazardly, tight maneuvering. McLane distribution center (grocery warehouse). Race Trac ~18 miles away; Loves & Pilot ~18 miles away. I-64 exit 43.
