  On March 8th 2024 my mom, Elżbieta, was diagnosed with TNBC, and to say our world was shattered is an understatement. By the grace of God she was referred to and began treatment with Dr. Mahngar and the Woodland Cancer team.<br><br>From the get go our family was shocked at how quickly and smoothly treatment began - within one week of diagnosis she had her port inserted and the following week she began chemotherapy. Dr. Mahngar and all the wonderful nurses were truly a dream team throughout this difficult time, I was fortunate to come to some of her visits and I was beyond impressed with the care and attention she received from every person we interacted with, from the front desk to the clinical and admin teams. The facilities were immaculate and comfortable, the various medical equipment and her treatment care plans were modern and extremely effective. I cannot overstate that without all of the individuals here I would likely be sharing a very different story today.<br><br>One year post diagnosis, post chemo, surgery and radiation, my mom is cancer free and on to the monitoring stage. I wish I had the name of every team member at Woodland to give them their own special shout out - we are eternally grateful to you all for giving mom her life back and nursing her back to health.<br><br>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!🤍
