DIRECTIONS Exit 28 is the preferred route. Take Hwy 60 East, then left on Virginia Ave. Do NOT rely on GPS—it sends you to dead ends or residential streets with 4-ton limits. Google Maps works better than Garmin. Road signs now posted at Fair Foods grocery store. Narrow residential streets, 20 mph speed limit. Get out and look if arriving at night. Coming from I-64 West: exit 28, turn right, cross traffic light, turn left on US-60, drive 4.5 miles, turn left on Virginia Ave before Fair Foods, drive 1.7 miles. UNLOADING Lumper service (no drop and hook). Wildly inconsistent—anywhere from 45 minutes to 10 hours reported. Many drivers cite 5-8 hour waits. Unloading starts quickly after door assignment but paperwork processing adds significant time. Receiving hours 6am–2pm, M–F only. Don't expect unload after 11am. One lumper crew sometimes means slow hand unload. Lumper fees: $215–$285 reported. APPOINTMENTS & FEES Strict on appointment time. $50–$100 late fees for even minor delays (5 minutes). Reschedule fee: $250. Arrive early—many drivers report getting door immediately for early arrivals. Monday is extremely busy; arrive by 4am if possible.
