Bridgestone Americas Distribution Center

Facility info

Check-in & operations: Gate check-in straightforward with guard handling license/paperwork. Drop-and-hook available and fast for some loads. Live loading takes 5-6 hours typical. Overnight drop may not be loaded by morning—expect delays. Appointment scheduling in place but arriving early possible. Paperwork pickup requires going to office, not waiting at gate door. Wait times: Drop-and-hook runs 1 hour or less. Live load expect 5-6 hours minimum, sometimes longer with additional 2-3 hour waits for paperwork. Some reports of unloaded trailers sitting overnight despite scheduled appointments. Facility experience: Professional, organized, well-managed yard. Staff generally friendly and helpful at gate and office. No overnight parking available. Tire distribution center—floor-loaded product is time-consuming. Some reports of unprofessional conduct in office (detention pay disputes, mocking drivers). Gate guards consistently praised as polite and attentive. Fair warning: Detention time disputes reported with management; facility reportedly refuses to pay. Live load timing unpredictable. Best for drop-and-hook; live loads are commitment-heavy.
