CHECK-IN & APPOINTMENTS Appointment system strictly enforced—miss it and face $250+ reschedule fees plus lumper charges ($500-$750 for full frozen trucks). Call ahead if arriving more than 1 hour early. Gate guard gives paper to fill out at check-in, calls you later for door assignment. Some doors called all at once creating rush conditions. Opening times around 5-5:30 AM. UNLOAD TIMES Highly variable. Best case: 1-2 hours. Typical: 2-3 hours. Worst case: 4-10+ hours. Speed depends heavily on which dock door you're assigned—some doors noticeably faster than others. Paperwork/bills processing often the bottleneck (can take 2-4 hours alone). Lumper service handled by Capstone, paid electronically. OVERNIGHT PARKING 10-15 dedicated spots inside gate, fills up on Sunday nights and Monday mornings. Street parking available but not ideal. Arrive night before your appointment if possible. CHECK-IN PROCESS Enter at truck gate (far left, ignore "NO TRUCKS" sign). Stop at guard shack, fill out paperwork. Guard will assign door or tell you to wait for call. Take broken seal and paperwork to receiving office (near doors 40-41). Wear safety vest required. Hand sanitizer required before handling paperwork. FACILITY & GROUNDS Adequate backing space. Clean, organized. Guard shack not covered—you stand in rain during check-in. On-site yard vehicles sometimes block dock access, creating delays. STAFF Mixed reviews. Gate guards consistently praised as friendly and helpful. Receiving office staff ranges from very professional and courteous to reportedly slow and occasionally rude. Safety-conscious operation. OTHER NOTES Restrooms available. Lumper fees substantial. Can't call in to check load status—they'll say paperwork is "being reviewed." Late fees charged on top of reschedule fees. If dispatcher calls with next load, you'll likely miss it.
