Facility info

WAIT TIMES Consistently 5-10+ hours from check-in to departure. Most drivers report 7-8 hours. Appointments mean little — you'll wait regardless. Don't expect to leave quickly even if unloading finishes early; paperwork processing adds another 30+ minutes to hours. CHECK-IN & OPERATIONS Park in lot, walk to guard shack to check in. Simple process but slow to get called for a door — sometimes 3+ hours after checking in. No-contact facility. Once at dock, place sealed BOL in green mailbox at door 1. Lumper fees charged ($185-$460+ depending on load size). No advance unloading for early arrivals. UNLOADING Extremely slow. Even small loads (1-5 pallets) take 3-6 hours. Larger loads routinely take 7-10+ hours. Drivers report being unloaded but still waiting hours for paperwork/green light. Some damage to pallets reported without driver notification. PARKING & OVERNIGHT Overnight parking available in lot outside guard gate — can stay up to 24 hours. Staging area has multiple spots. FACILITIES Porta-potties only (2 available). Cleanest porta-potties some drivers have used, but inadequate for volume. One review mentions hand-washing station. No indoor restrooms, no vending, no water access. Guard shack has AC but drivers can only wait there ~20 minutes. During Phoenix heat (110°F+), porta-potty situation is brutal. STAFF & ATTITUDE Mixed. Guard shack staff often friendly and helpful. General facility staff indifferent to driver time constraints. Union Capstone lumpers handle unloading — reputation for slowness and lack of urgency. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS No open-toe shoes. 30+ minutes of security checks/procedures at check-in. BOTTOM LINE Bring food, water, and entertainment. Plan for 8+ hours minimum. Overnight parking is the only real advantage. Not worth taking the load if you have time-sensitive commitments.

Parked, walked to gaurd shack, checked in, waited about just over an hour to get door. Dropped paperwork in green mailbox that seems to be ignored, been three hours as of writing this and light still green and trailer hadn't been touched. No instructions on contacting anyone about seeing if anyone has even bothered to look paperwork?!
